Colorful and Personality-Packed Website for a Corporate Leadership Coach
SALLY WEST COACHING
Sally West spent decades at the top of corporate leadership, building deep expertise in accounting, finance, and management along the way. She's a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Management Accountant, and a Certified Life Coach — credentials that represent not just years of study, but years of real-world experience leading people and organizations at a high level. When she decided to step into a new chapter and launch Sally West Coaching, she had one goal: to take everything she'd learned and help others do the same.
All she needed was a website to match.
The Problem
Sally was starting from scratch — no existing website, no established web presence, and a brand new business to introduce to the world. She needed something that felt professional and credible right out of the gate. Without the budget of an established company, a one-page website was the perfect solution. For a new business just getting off the ground, a single well-crafted page is often the smartest place to start.
THE SOLUTION
Sally knew what she wanted: something eye-catching, colorful, and memorable. She loved the look of my own website and wanted to use a similar color palette — greens and pinks, with lush botanical imagery throughout. I loved designing my own site and there was something really fun about building a similar site someone else.
The logo was one of my favorite parts of this project. I chose Romaglia, a beautiful scripted font, and paired it with a clean serif beneath it. No icons, no elaborate graphics — just typography doing exactly what great typography is supposed to do. A strong, well-chosen font is sometimes all you need to create a logo that sticks.
This one sticks.
Even though the site is a single page, we gave it the feel of a full multi-page website by building out a top navigation with anchor links that jump to each section. Her coaching packages are laid out clearly so visitors can immediately see which one is the right fit for them.
An FAQ section makes sure people can find answers without having to go looking elsewhere. And we embedded a Flodesk newsletter signup, since email marketing is one of the most powerful tools for growing a business.
Then there's the credibility layer. Since Sally was launching a new business, it was important to show that she was anything but new to this. We featured her certifications prominently — including her CPA, CMA, Certified Life Coach designation, affiliations with Texas A&M and the WICT Network, and her Texas State Board of Public Accountancy credentials. Paired with strong client testimonials from people she'd already coached and mentored throughout her career, the message was clear: this is someone who has been doing this work for a long time.
The Result
Sally now has a vibrant, professional website that introduces her business to the world with confidence. It's colorful, it's personal, and it's built to convert — with clear packages, easy navigation, and every trust signal a new visitor needs to say yes.
She is SO excited, and honestly, so am I. This one was a joy to design.
